Join UNI Earth and Environmental Science students as they relive their adventures in the northern Rocky Mountains. We explored ten state and/or national parks, include Glacier/Waterton on the Montana and Alberta Border for 17 days in August. Experience the famous, 21 mile, Highline hiking trial from a student perspective! Learn about the impacts of climate change upon alpine glaciers, forest fires and human-landscape interactions. We will also discuss the relative roles of wilderness, sustainability and industrial tourism within our national parks system.
Tuesday, October 17, 4 PM in Latham 125.
